We pyrolytically convert plant biomass into biochar which is a very stable form of carbon. This biochar is then buried underground where it remains for a thousand years. The biochar also improve soils as part of science based regenerative agricultural program and increases the water holding capacity of the soil, protecting against drought.

We will produce biochar on the farms where trees are grown or in the areas where the invasive plants are controlled. All of this is recorded so you know the money you pay goes to that landowner or community in the case of collective ownership of lands (common in rangelands).
We sell security
All the carbon you paid to permanently store will be published on a secure system.
Carbon storage must be both accurate and transparent. We are partnered with PlantVillage at Penn State University, with its global, public good platform that will ensure transparency.

Climate change means Africa is experiencing more drought. Planting trees along the farm border, and cover crops on the field, directly combats drought. Since trees and cover crops contiously grow they biomass that can be converted to biochar that is then added to the soil. This improves soil quality while storing carbon.
Stop desertification
We work with indigenous tribes of pastoralists to remove invasive weeds that are increasing desertification. We turn this into biochar to be stored in the soil and plant native grasses and trees that increase water availability and forage for their animals.
