to track every step

We record everything. Exactly where and when the biochar production started and from what facility and by whom. We then track ever step in the process with GPS and time stamped photographs that ensures quality and every step. The system is deigned to ensure everything is tracked to increase trust.

Our software is used by multiple separate companies or NGOs in the process to verify a carbon credit . They can verify the records are correct and raise any red flags over data quality and transparency. They can also use our software to send messages to the ground teams. This increases trust.

Different types of biomass will result in different carbon content of the resultant biomass. All of this is in our database and developed with groups like the European Biochar Certificate which is a voluntary industry standard in Europe. Following their protocol we collect and keep samples for routine analysis.

We record carbon captured an stored down to individual kg within each bag produced. Ultimately the carbon must be placed in the ground and we track that by assigning unique individual tags to all bags produced.

Independent organizations like the European Biochar Certificate standard, or Carbon Standard International, other companies or the global scientific community can all see what we are storing. This is vital for ensuring trust.
